      Kay Walsmith is a multi-site owner who has operated 37 child care centers since she began her professional career in 1978. She is a partner in Child Care Success, a marketing and management consulting firm in Arizona.
 
     After graduating from Arizona State University in Secondary Education she taught Home Economics classes before buying her first center.

Since then she has also started a child care center catering business serving 2,500 meals a day, developed sites for others, presented seminars throughout the U.S. and several foreign countries on management of child care facilities, and conducted numerous workshops on specific child care topics such as staff development, training, parental relationships, marketing, and curriculum design.

She is also the creator and owner of a groundbreaking Web site for the child care industry, www.childcareworld.com, which is the first vertically-integrated shopping mall specifically for child care, bringing together vendors, operators, parents, and job seekers at one easy-to-use site.

Childcare World has been praised by industry insiders for how quickly and simply it is to research new products, compare prices, make purchases, post jobs and find new employees.

Gary Witt, Ph.D., has more than 25 years of experience in all areas of marketing information design. He holds a double doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in Psychology and in Communications. His academic and professional focus is the use of media to persuade, educate and motivate buyers.

He is a partner in Child Care Success, a marketing & management consulting firm in Mesa, Arizona, and owns the Marketing Psychology Group in Scottsdale.

He is the author of the business books 101 Ways to Improve Your Business Web Site and High Impact: How You Can Create Ads That Sell. He is the Marketing columnist for a local business magazine, and has written numerous national articles on the design of effective marketing media.

He has worked with local, national, and international companies, including Harrahs Casinos, Crate & Barrel, Allied Global Partners (Tokyo), Qwest Communications, and Eastman Kodak. His child care industry clients include Child Care World, Tutor Time Child Care Centers (Arizona), and Lipman Educational Consulting.

He has also given numerous national presentations at conventions such as the Association for Educational Communication and Technology, the National Child Support Association, and the Internet Professionals Association.

Dr. Witt is also the chairman of the Marketing Department at Western International University in Phoenix, where he teaches graduate courses including Internet Marketing, Buyer Behavior, Advertising & Public Relations, and Marketing Strategy.
