6 Figures in 7 Days Challenge: How Our Challengers Keep Rocking It!

The Results Are In And The Challenge Is a Success!

Setting Challengers Up for Sucess

I began our challenge with pre-challenge and Day 0 videos bringing insightful wisdom, an introduction to the challenge, and a pre-challenge homework assignment. Participants were asked to go live on Facebook to break out of their comfort zones and learn to become leaders of their industry in front of others. Challengers embraced our core principles and stepped up in a big way in the safe space we established so they could share openly and let go of fear. The energy, support, and commitment coming from the challenge has been incredible! 

Day 1

During Day 1 of the challenge we dove right into mindset. It is so important to understand your why and feed a growth mindset. Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you CAN or you think you CAN’T… you are right,” explaining that mindset dictates your success and relates to both your professional and personal life.  Action drives results and many successful academy members shared their own results to show that the ‘proof is in the pudding.’ 

I also shared a list of some of my favorite mindset mentors to follow that included Simon Sinek and Trent Shelton (who both spoke at the 2020 Child Care Success Summit) along with many others. 

I think the highlight of Day 1 was our guest, Jody Marquis, inspirational speaker and the CEO of Chance for Change Institute Inc. Jody shared with participants her incredible journey to success, which included overcoming monumental obstacles and changing the way she was both thinking and living her life. Marquis explained understanding responsibility and having the right energy to evolve. Her session was powerful! 

Challengers felt inspired, energized, and gained important insights into adopting a positive mindset to set them forth on their journey toward success! 

Day 2

The energy coming into day 2 was high and everyone was ready to get down to business planning goals for the new 2021 year. I revealed my four-step plan to “reclaim your life process,” by getting clear on what you want, being real with yourself, writing down your goals and system change, and making daily commitments. 

Categories for these goals could include health, career, marriage, family, friends, hobbies, finances, and spirituality. Health is ALWAYS number one on the list because if you aren’t putting yourself first from the start, when are you ever going to do it?  Participants designed their SMART goals and I shared my own goals and successes. 

One of the best keys for reaching a goal is making a system change that supports reaching your goal. For example, the difference between willpower and a system change is “I’m going to try and answer more emails this year,” versus “I’m turning over the majority of my inbox to a virtual assistant.” 

It is also powerful to write down things that can deviate you from your system so you can better understand them. By understanding your potential obstacles you can create an alternative system around them so that they don’t have power over you. 

The overall response to Day 2 was outstanding as you can see by a few of these comments from challenge participants! 

Day 3

Jumping into metrics on Day 3, we learned the important math you need to know for business success! It is important to always have a data-driven business. Coach Donna Jensen joined me and shared her own success story. Donna is a coach on our team here at the Child Care Success Company and she owns two child care centers. She started as a home child care provider and expanded her business using my academy before becoming a coach on our team. 

My metrics model included foundational concepts and what key metrics you should be tracking. I provided easy and clear formulas to calculate gaps in enrollment and lifetime customer value. Together Donna and I taught participants child care metrics terminology and enrollment funnel metrics. 

Challenge participants figured out their child care center’s metrics as homework and reflected on their numbers. Day 3 was a success and many child care leaders were shocked to find out how much money they had been missing out on! 

Day 4

Day 4 of our challenge was all about understanding and matching your market. If you aren’t meeting your enrollment goals, it is most likely because you’re not matching your market. Often you are not marketing hard enough, you are missing out on a value component, or you are not making the right market fit. It’s very important to understand the pockets of your market. For example, are you located in a college town or are you in an affluent stay-at-home mom town? Understanding your best client avatar, and cultivating and leveraging parent  and teacher/staff relationships are two key insights to help you match your market with the service you offer.

I shared the “Big 5” in any market and gave ideas on how to love on current clients. An example is using video testimonials. Your prospective clients will see you interacting with your current market and you will both gain their trust and get more attention.

As we near the end of our Challenge and time together we are excited to witness the impact the next couple of days will have on participants from across the world! The amount of support between our challenge members has been incredible!
