Accountability is critical in your child care business. For a few years during the Pandemic, we were just surviving each day and could let things slide. But now that we’re on the other side, things often continue to slide because we let our staff get used to it.

Accountability is difficult because none of us want to be the mean person. Sometimes we avoid having tough conversations with our staff because we’re scared, which inevitably allows the behavior to continue.

You’re invited to join Coach Jennifer Slavin on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1 PM EST, as she walks us through navigating tough conversations about performance issues, poor attitude, gossip, and interpersonal conflicts, as well as teaching us how to hold our teams accountable to better behavior after these conversations have taken place.

In this powerful session, you will learn:

    • How to handle a difficult situation even when you’re angry
    • When to finally “say something”
    • How to accept personal responsibility for tackling issues in your school
    • How to set high expectations for yourself and your team
    • How to “come out on the other side” in a practical, positive, and proactive way
    • How to build personal connections through 1-on-1’s
    • How to have clear expectations and clear conversations
