Sharita Brown

Child Care Business Coach

Sharita Brown knew at age seven that she wanted to be a teacher. Energetic, service-minded, and built around education, creativity, and connection, she started in the classroom and rose quickly from teacher to director, then became a business partner before she felt fully prepared. That speed exposed a hard truth. She struggled to manage friends as staff, leaned on relationships over accountability, and led without clear boundaries, second-guessing herself through real emotional strain. She even bought an underperforming center, misreading the market and community fit, and learned firsthand that connection without standards creates instability.

The turning point came when she saw that culture must be built on purpose, not assumed, and that leadership requires both connection and boundaries. Today she coaches owners to make that same shift: build deep relationships with staff and families, set clear expectations, correct privately and respectfully, and create environments that are emotionally safe and accountable. Her work bridges people to performance, converting emotional leadership into structured culture that teams actually adopt.

She works best with relationship-driven leaders who care deeply about their people and are open to structure. Sharita has opened and expanded multiple locations and built self-sustaining team cultures that operate with intention, without constant owner presence.

Signature line: “You can care deeply and still hold the standard.”
