It’s been a great week for me! I’m finding real joy this week in learning all of these things. The market comparison and analysis has been so enlightening for me to see and understand how much money was being left on the table. I’m just blown away! Learning to nail my unique benefits was really enlightening for me and I just really, really, really enjoyed this week. By using just a couple of techniques that I've learned over the last few days, I was able to fill my program. I’m at capacity, and I made slight changes that made all the difference in the world. I’m really thankful that I’ve had this opportunity and I’m so looking forward to the rest of the week.
I just wanted to share that since I participated in the challenge, I have increased my enrollment from 5 to potentially 17 children in just a matter of days. I implemented a few of the marketing and message strategies in my advertising posts and emails to my current families. Based on parent safety concerns, I was inspired to create an outdoor classroom. I took lots of pictures of it and put them up in a Facebook post, which now has over 5,000 views in only two days! My phone was ringing all day today with potential leads. I cannot wait to apply the rest of what we have learned in this AMAZING challenge! I'm so thankful for this opportunity.
Even when you’re in child care for 45 years, you’re never too old to learn anything. Kris has taught me so much. I did my homework and found out I was not doing near enough to market my center. Now, I have a whole plethora of a list to get my center going.This challenge has opened up a new world for me and I'm just so excited and anxious to get started! “Since we began our journey with Kris, our enrollment has improved from 60% to 85%. Our staff turnover has decreased from 160% to being on track this year to reach 50%. Parent satisfaction is up and churn is down. We have begun construction of a 3rd location opening in August 2018 and are currently working on a 4th. Jake & Leann attended their first Summit in 2017, with only 20 children enrolled at their school and struggling to pay their bills. That year they made the leap and joined the Academy, and today their school is at full capacity, they have the money to go on vacation, and are opening a second location.
When Jamarrion joined the Academy, she had financial success but was lacking leadership skills, leading to high staff turnover. It wasn’t until she took the Leadership Mastery Course that she realized she needed to work on herself as a leader and has since seen a tremendous positive shift in her staff and culture as a result.
With a unique business model that caters to children with special medical needs, Judy went into the business with a big heart but quickly found herself on the verge of bankruptcy, with only 11 kids enrolled out of a capacity of 60.
